What if I tell you a Cell Phone Could Save Your Child? Do You Have Face File?

By politicalwag.com | June 28, 2009

If you’re a single Mom, you probably worry about your children more than the average parent. You’re single for whatever reason, but your child only has you as a guardian most of the time.

So it’s obvious you’re going to be worried about your child’s safety.

A lot of parents worry about their child’s safety, but the majority of them don’t do anything significant to protect their children. If you’re a single Mom who wants to protect your child, then there is plenty you can do.

I recommend getting your child a cell phone, that way you can always get in touch.

If you do happen to get your child a camera phone, there is a fantastic service that uses the latest technology called face file.

With face file, they can take pictures of certain people or objects when they encounter some danger, then you’ll automatically be updated by email of the picture they took, with a time stamp.

So if something did happen to your child, you would be able to trace the problem back to someone or something.

Back a few months ago, a 9 year old girl went missing; she was thought to be kidnapped. She went missing on a Saturday morning, and her single Mom right away informed the police when she found out. A search party was put out by the police. They had a squad of 50 officers looking for the little girl in the local area. After two weeks, the search died down. Because no progress was being made. As the weeks went by, a few character witnesses came forward after they believed they saw the little girl with another couple in a completely different town.

A couple more weeks and the little girl remarkably turned up. When questioned she said a man looked after her for a weeks, although she claimed to not knowing the guys name or the address. This time there was a happy ending, but it could have been much worse. The guy has never been questioned by police, because he has never been located.

In this case if the new technology of face file was used, would this kidnapper still be free? Unlikely.  Like I said at the start of the article there are a few things you can do to prevent situations like these from happening. Getting a cell phone with camera capabilities is one thing, registering your family with face file is another thing.
